The online space has experienced an unprecedented boom in the past two decades. Yet, as with any other advancements, there are also those who wish to abuse the new tools and opportunities, which can also bring along security threats. To that end, the EU has introduced several pioneer pieces of legislation aiming at regulating aspects of the online space. This podcast episode brings an interview with Mr. Daniel Braun, the Head of the Cabinet of the European Commission´s Vice-President Věra Jourová, on the EU's regulatory efforts and how the EU approaches threats online.
