Today's episode is centered around Romans 8:15-17, and its a reminder that we are children of God. But what does it look like to actually live and have hearts like His children when we're hurting, disappointed, triggered and even misunderstood?
If God isn't removing the pain in this current season, then possibly He's using the season to reveal something deeper within us.
Pain can absolutely change us. But it can also reveal us.
Today's episode touches on what happens when God allows us to sit with discomfort long enough to see the blind spots in our own heart. The things we THOUGHT we surrendered. The pain, spiritual and emotional warfare, triggers, forgiveness, repentance, releasing control, and the temptation to emotionally avenge ourselves when we've been mishandled.
The goal isn't simply to just ask God to make the situation change, but to look at the situation from a new perspective.
The question remains: When He searches your heart, will His reflection be there?
