Cerebrum is a progressive melodic death metal band from Finland. Formed in Turku in the early 1990s, the band recorded two demos in their early days before going through several lineup changes and eventually disappearing from the scene.
In 2022, four of the original members decided to bring Cerebrum back to life, picking up where they left off and continuing to push their unique blend of progressive and melodic death metal.
Over the years, Cerebrum has shared the stage with a long list of bands, including Archgoat, Black Dawn, Garcharot, Disgrace, Deceiver, Deep Turtle, At Dawn They Sleep, Absurdus, Depravity, Preprophecy (later known as Cryhavoc), Congestion, Euthanausea, Inferia, Necropsy, Thromdarr, Blood Chalice, Pestigore, Tenebrae, Guts, and many more.
