The Arrangement Part Four: Blood on the Mountain

In the winter of 1950, Thomas finally crossed a boundary his father had warned him never to cross. Deep in the mountains of north Georgia, on a remote section of the family's 80-acre property, he ventured into an area Will had marked on an old map with three chilling words: DO NOT GO HERE.

What Thomas discovered suggested the Sasquatch living on the mountain had a hidden place of their own. Massive footprints, twisted trees, carefully arranged stones, shattered bones, and a secluded shelter beneath a rocky overhang all pointed to something extraordinary. But when the forest suddenly fell silent and something enormous began moving through the laurel above him, Thomas realized he wasn't alone. Whatever lived on that ridge knew he was there—and it followed him all the way back down the mountain.

Over the next several years, Thomas continued the uneasy arrangement his father had established with the mysterious creatures. But everything changed when three timber men arrived with frightening stories of something massive stalking their camp on the neighboring property. Then came a cold November night, a single rifle shot echoing through the mountains, and nearly a minute of terrifying screams unlike anything Thomas had ever heard. At daylight, Thomas followed a trail of evidence that would change everything: enormous tracks, blood on the mountainside, signs that something wounded had been dragged uphill, and a spent rifle casing. 

Someone had entered the mountain with a gun, and Thomas was determined to find out who.In Part Four of The Arrangement, we continue the remarkable account shared through emails by a mysterious man named Jimmy, whose family has owned this secluded north Georgia property for generations. Jimmy claims his grandfather first revealed these events to him when he was just nine years old.

Today, he says he still possesses the original map, the rifle casing, and eleven handwritten pages documenting what happened.For decades, Jimmy's family protected a secret about the Sasquatch living on their land. But someone from outside the family had crossed a line, and the fragile peace established by his great-grandfather was about to unravel.
