Can you think of one area or areas where you haven't been shining your light? Are you currently dimming your light as a result of the association you're keeping? Have you been avoiding shining your light because you don't want people to perceive you in a certain light? If you can identify with any of these questions, then come to God in prayer and total surrender; ask him to show you the ways he is calling you to shine his light in the various places he has placed you.

Matthew 5:14-16 (NLT): “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. '
