Our Guest: Charles Hoskinson, mathematician, co-founder of Ethereum cryptocurrency network, and founder of Cardano, a blockchain platform for changemakers, innovators, and visionaries, with the tools and technologies required to create the possibility for the many, as well as the few, and bring about positive global change. Cardano is a proof-of-stake blockchain platform: the first to be founded on peer-reviewed research and developed through evidence-based methods. It combines pioneering technologies to provide unparalleled security and sustainability to decentralized applications, systems, and societies. Charles is also the founder of IOKK, a tech company dedicated to cascading disruption, the idea that most of the structures that form the world’s financial, governance, and social systems are inherently unstable, and thus minor perturbations can cause a ripple effect that fundamentally reconfigures the entire system. IOHK is identifying and developing technology to force these perturbations in order to push towards a more fair and transparent order.
