Falling in love with and marrying a prince has been written about and fantasized about by women for centuries. So when American socialite Wallis Simpson meets the Prince of Wales in 1931, a fairy tale story begins to take shape… sort of. That’s because when the prince is unexpectedly thrust onto the throne and becomes King of England, things begin to get complicated.
