Susanne Holly Brent was born in Chicago. She then earned a Journalism Degree in Denver, Colorado before moving to a small town in Arizona to work as a newspaper reporter. In addition to writing, she has worked as a waitress in upscale and downscale restaurants, bartended, taught ESL, read tea leaves, and pursued other jobs she’s forgotten about by now.
