The modern world has a modern way of doing villainy. It's not crime if you do it through crowdsourcing in an app, for example. That's just innovative technology. And if investors benefit, then it's especially not crime - that's just good business. There are a lot of things that seem like villainy which, if you ask a business, constitutes nothing of the sort.
