LINDSEY GRAHAM: OUR SENATOR – A Tribute, Part 5: A South Carolina Original
Our five-part documentary tribute concludes with a look back at the remarkable public life and enduring legacy of Senator Lindsey Graham, one of the most consequential political figures in modern South Carolina history.
In this final installment, we revisit Graham's role as a leading voice in Washington, D.C., hearing once again from the senator himself through interviews that reveal his convictions, humor, and approach to public service. We also return to one of the defining moments of his career—his passionate defense during the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation hearings—and to his final major appearance before the people of South Carolina as we listen to his victory speech following his Republican primary victory just weeks before his passing.
The episode also includes the heartfelt letter from South Carolina's new United States Senator, Darlene Graham Nardone, addressed to the people of the Palmetto State as she begins her temporary service in the Senate.
Closer to home, host Randal Wallace appears before both the Myrtle Beach City Council and Horry County Council to propose that the terminal at Myrtle Beach International Airport be named in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham.
