Our time on earth is guaranteed to be filled with struggle, and Paul encourages us in his letters to Timothy. However, our struggle is not to earn salvation - but only a symptom of living a mortal life in anticipation of the prize beyond. God promises that we will struggle, but has already given us the victory by grace!
