What to Do When You Feel Overlooked

Feeling overlooked can quietly wear you down. But what if there is a better race to run?

In this 5-minute Christian devotional, we explore Romans 12:10 and Paul's surprising invitation to "take delight in honouring each other". Instead of fighting to be noticed, praised or given the credit, we can become people who notice and encourage others.

We also meet Epaphroditus in Philippians 2:25-32. Paul makes sure this faithful servant is honoured, even when his work does not end as planned. And if you are the person who feels unseen today, there is hope here for you too. God has already noticed.

One simple challenge for today: choose one person and honour them out loud. Tell them something specific you have noticed and valued.
