Athens is not my favourite city on Earth but I can acknowledge there’s *something* about it that makes it endearing. I think it’s the small oases (museums, monuments, restaurants, shops, events) amidst the complete chaos that makes you feel like you’re on a treasure hunt. And I LOVE a good treasure hunt.
