1) President Trump signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Iran's leadership. The MOU included Iran promising to keep the Strait of Hormuz open for commercial shipping. Then last week, Iran fired missiles on a commercial ship transiting the Strait. Wasn't that a gross violation of the MOU?
2) Iran today is again claiming it's sovereignty over the Strait and is blocking passage of commercial ships. Isn't this holding the world hostage by Iran's blockade of free shipping in an international waterway?
3) Trump is attacking Iranian shore radar and missiles in response to Iran's attacking ships in the Strait it claims are not following it's orders. Iran is counterattacking US military bases in Gulf states. The Gulf States claim Iran by counterattacking is acting in a hostile manner on 'innocent Gulf States'.
4) Vice Pres. JD Vance has accused Israel of mounting a foreign influence campaign to defeat the US-Iran MOU and get US to continue fighting Iran. Vance also claims Israel is funding a US smear campaign on Vance as Trump's appointed champion of getting the MOU across the finish line.
