In this episode we discuss the brilliant Taiwanese found footage film Incantation (2022), a film that manages to be frightening and tug at the heart strings. We dive into the lore created for the film along with the real aspects that inspired both the story and the deity depicted in the movie. We also discuss having respect for the beliefs of others, the 'cursed film' subgenre, the nature of intention and perspective, and the lengths a parent would go to in order to protect their child.
