UNDER OATH: Who Ordered the DC Golf Trees Cut?

A federal judge says the government lost all its credibility. Now she wants answers under oath. 

This morning, Judge Ana Reyes called senior Trump officials into her DC courtroom. The case is DC Preservation League v. Department of the Interior. 

The fight is over East Potomac Golf Links, and President Trump's "Washington National" plan to remake it as a championship course. Over a holiday weekend, the Park Service cut down about 430 trees with almost no notice to the court. 

Reyes was furious. She blocked any more cutting through October 26. DOJ asked her to recuse. She refused. Trump called her a "crazed lunatic." 

Today, Interior's Gregory Wischer and acting Park Service director Jessica Bowron were ordered to testify. Who ordered the trees cut, and why so fast? Is this a real NEPA violation, or judicial overreach?
