Local legends and a few travel brochures speak of the Red Landing Art Colony as a surreal, almost magical place where an artist can spend a year free from the pressures of society just creating and honing their craft. Open to the public, the place is often described as strange in a "creative" way although there are conflicting reviews that it is actually strange in a creepy and unsettling way.
