What happens when conversations about health, personal autonomy, freedom of conscience, and free expression become harder to have?
This week, May and Tim are joined by Rebecca Mello, a Canadian law student and organizer with Think Canada, to talk about the upcoming Health Under Fire conference in Scarborough, Ontario.
After launching its first conference under the theme Freedom Under Fire, Think Canada returns for its second year with a focus on health—from physical health to mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Rebecca explains why the team felt Canadians needed a place to gather in person, ask difficult questions, exchange ideas, and connect with others who share their concerns about health and individual freedom.
Think Canada: Health Under Fire
November 13–14 | Scarborough, Ontario
This year's featured speakers include Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Conrad Vine.
Rebecca shares that Dr. McCullough's presentation will focus on physical health, including long COVID, spike protein, and his approach to addressing related health concerns. Dr. Vine will explore history, faith, freedom, and the spiritual dimensions of the issues facing society today. The conference will also include a Q&A, giving attendees an opportunity to engage directly with the speakers.
Seating is limited and registration is required. Rebecca also shares that the first 100 registrants will receive a copy of Dr. McCullough's latest book.

May, Tim, and Rebecca also get into the bigger conversations behind the conference: why Rebecca believes face-to-face community still matters, differences between Canadian and American approaches to individual rights, the role of media and government in shaping public discourse, personal responsibility for health, and why younger generations need opportunities to connect with mentors—and with one another.
Rebecca also shares her own story, from studying business and law in Spain to returning to Canada and becoming increasingly interested in law during the COVID era. At just 26, she discusses how her family and faith influenced her willingness to speak publicly about issues she believes matter.
At its core, this conversation—and the upcoming conference—is about creating a place for people to think critically, connect in person, ask questions, and participate in conversations about health and freedom.
