Throughout July, Becoming a Pillar for Radio Maria brings you the voices of listeners, volunteers and friends who hold up Our Lady's Radio in the UK. Each episode explores why our supporters give, what Radio Maria means to them, and their hopes for its future. Radio Maria stands on five pillars: prayer, fidelity to the Magisterium, dependence on Providence and the generosity of listeners, Marian spirituality, and the dedication of volunteers. We carry no advertising, so everything you hear is shaped by prayer and mission, not by sponsors. Every pillar needs people. People like you.
Sandy Hobson is a long-time volunteer for Radio Maria and regularly joins events and activities of the Radio in Cambridge. Today, she'll share what Radio Maria has been for her life and her hopes for the future of Our Lady's Radio.
