Kevin Beare, founder of Cape May Astro in New Jersey, sets up his telescopes on street corners and in parking lots to show people the cosmos. He shares how he got started, what it means to people to have unexpected moments of awe and wonder, and how you can use your telescope to give people the gift of a night sky experience. He’s a funeral director by day and street astronomer by night, and if you get a chance to spend an evening peering through his telescopes, you’ll fall in love with the dark.
