The Disempowered-Man and Entitled-Woman dynamic is a problematic pair, where the man sinks into a powerless role and the woman takes over. The masculine frame has broken down. The woman tries to become the man she wanted from the beginning.
The catastrophic breakdown of relationships and family in America is layered. One of the major issues is the absence of healthy, present father figures. Men without role models to help guide how they lead themselves and the family has left an enormous void. We also have social-cultural issues such as media glamorizing divorce; weaponoization of the legal system; pedastalizing the woman’s experience, while dismissing and degrading the man’s experience — and more.
