Akhila Suri is an architect, urban designer and a manager in the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at World Resources Institute India. She works on designing safer streets and cities with people first approach and has several successful projects in her portfolio. Today in India, urban mobility has many issues with safety and congestion, and going forward urban design along with good practice play an important role in making our cities more sustainable.
