What happens when the life you thought you were meant to live begins making way for something your soul has been quietly preparing you for all along?
In this beautiful conversation, Katie welcomes Amma Ventelä back to the Soulful Valley Podcast to explore her extraordinary journey from an international career in science to becoming an Angel Guide, Unity Guide, artist and Remembrance Keeper.
With a PhD in aquatic ecology and 41 international scientific publications behind her, Amma spent years immersed in the scientific world, even during periods when she consciously resisted the spiritual experiences and guidance that had been present since childhood.
Yet, as Amma shares, the guidance never really disappeared.
Together, Katie and Amma explore what happened when she finally surrendered, the awakening of her clairvoyant senses, her relationship with Divine Mother Sophia, and the powerful realisation that even the years when she believed she had chosen the wrong path were an essential part of the journey.
They also delve into Amma's chapter in the forthcoming Evolving on Purpose: Angels, Spirit Guides and the Frequency of Miracles, launching on Amazon on 26th September 2026, and how writing it revealed something she had not fully understood before: she had been guided even when she believed she was disconnected.
Amma also shares why she has continued returning to Soulful Valley Publishing collaborations, the transformation she has experienced through writing, her unexpected journey into poetry, and why these books have become far more than a marketing opportunity for her.
The conversation moves into creativity, art, light codes, light language and Amma's striking painting of Divine Mother Sophia, before closing with a beautifully simple invitation: to stop, breathe, surrender and remember who you really are.
