THE PROPHECY NEWS PODCAST: November 22, 1963, Is The Moment When The Deep State Coup Seized Power

The American Deep State was institutionally created by the National Security Act of 1947, but it came of age in Dallas on November 22, 1963. President John F. Kennedy was murdered in broad daylight, Lyndon Johnson was sworn into office beside a bloodstained Jackie Kennedy, and the government quickly erected an official narrative that would be protected by secrecy for generations. The photograph of a smiling Johnson turning toward a winking Albert Thomas remains the chilling image of that transfer of power. The old president suspiciously dead, the excited new president smiling from ear to ear, and the machinery of permanent government moving forward without missing a beat.

What followed was not theory but history: COINTELPRO, MKULTRA, Operation CHAOS, the Gulf of Tonkin deception, Vietnam, Watergate, CIA coups, Iran-Contra, government torture, fabricated certainty about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, the Patriot Act and warrantless surveillance of the American people. Presidents changed, parties traded power and congressional hearings occasionally exposed crimes after the damage was done, but the intelligence agencies, military establishment, secret courts, federal law-enforcement apparatus and private defense contractors continued growing. The Deep State is the permanent system beneath the visible government—a machine that survives every election, protects its own secrets and hands every incoming president powers the Constitution never intended him to possess. But those powers come at a very steep price. From Dallas to Vietnam, from Watergate to Iran-Contra, from 9/11 and Iraq to warrantless surveillance, Butler PA and Trump’s expanding wars, the architecture remains firmly standing. Presidents change, slogans change and political parties change, but since November 22, 1963, the machine has never stopped running.
