This second episode moves beyond the question of what TFCO is and focuses instead on why it has not yet become widely available in Sweden. While the first episode explained the model, the treatment approach and the outcomes for young people and families, this episode turns to the barriers: procurement, funding, leadership, political will and the need for several organizations to implement TFCO at the same time. Tomas Tränkner speaks with Dirk Kehr from Skyddsvärnet and John Aarons from TFC Consultants about a bold civil society initiative where six organizations are joining forces to make TFCO accessible in more parts of the country. The real tension in this episode is not whether TFCO works, but whether Sweden can build the structure, collaboration and courage required to scale it.
