This 25 minute follow along rowing workout is a genuinely easy indoor rowing session for aerobic fitness, recovery and consistency — with one important rule: keep the easy rows easy.

Today is 21 minutes of easy rowing followed by a 4 minute cool down, around 20 strokes per minute.
The main idea is something I keep coming back to in training:
Don’t turn every workout into a hard workout.
These easier sessions build the fitness base that lets you perform well when it actually matters.
If you think you’re getting faster, great — push the faster workouts when they’re meant to be fast.
But don’t automatically turn the low-intensity rows into medium-intensity ones just because you can.
That’s how an easy day quietly becomes another hard day.
So today, we keep this one controlled, comfortable and useful.
If this is your only workout today, you can of course make it a little firmer. But if you’re using it as part of a bigger training week, keep some energy in reserve.
