Bryan and Joe return to discuss Nathan Balingrud's short story anthology Wounds: Six Stories on the Border of Hell (2019).

This one is <nearly> there for us, though some stories are too short ("The Maw") while others are too long ("Skullpocket"). But when one hits, like the finale "The Butcher's Table", we're obsessed.

Plus: Barker-esque body horror imagery; why Bryan needed more obvious connective tissue; and our interest in the film adaptation.
