What if the biggest thing standing between you and the life you want isn’t a lack of effort, but the fact that you’ve become so used to expecting things to go wrong?

In this episode, we’re talking about the habit of rehearsing disappointment before it ever happens... Expecting to dislike what we see in the mirror, expecting the text to be bad news, expecting the parking lot to be full, expecting less money, less luck, less beauty, less love.

Our brain learns from the evidence you repeatedly give it so what if you started giving it evidence that life is actually working in your favor?

We’re exploring the “mirror muscle” practicing looking at yourself expecting to be pleasantly surprised rather than searching for flaws and using that same exercise to uncover all the other places in life where you automatically anticipate struggle.

What if the work text is actually a raise?
What if the friend reaching out is bringing good news?
What if there’s a parking spot with your name on it?
What if your bank account has more than you expected?

Why not give yourself a chance and instead of “what could go wrong?” you start asking “what if everything goes right?”

We’re also getting into the identity of the person you’re becoming. You don’t need to wait until you have the body, money, relationship, career, confidence, or lifestyle you think you need before you can become her. How would she wake up tomorrow?

How would she dress, speak, eat, love, move, and carry herself?

Maybe being self-deprecating isn’t humility. Maybe it’s a habit.

Maybe expecting the worst isn’t protecting you anymore, maybe it’s keeping you disconnected from the version of yourself who expects beauty, abundance, luck, and magic.

This is your invitation to stop rehearsing disappointment and start practicing expectation.

What if it really does work out for you?
What if it happens faster than you think?
What if your life is already beginning to shift in your favor?

Expect magic. Then show up like it’s already yours. <33
