A new outbreak of Ebola in DRC and Uganda is growing rapidly. Even from the time of recording this article to the day of releasing it, the death count has nearly doubled and known cases continue to climb, with some articles claiming that it's continually breaking containment. We take a look here at how catabolic collapse played a part in this outbreak and will likely continue to do in other disease outbreaks to come.
