Let's pay tribute to Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. on Juneteenth National Independence Day, which annually commemorates on June 19 the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. A descendant of slaves, MLK's legacy is the powerful story of a Baptist minister who became a pivotal leader in the Civil Rights Movement.
