Melissa Barbieri played 86 games for the Matildas, went to four World Cups and an Olympic Games, and is still playing at 46. She was diagnosed with endometriosis at 16 and told almost nobody. In this episode she talks with Ellie Angel-Mobbs about the diagnosis that only happened because of a cyst, managing symptoms across a 13 year international career, losing her fallopian tubes, four rounds of IVF, and why she says the stigma around periods is based in ego.
