In this episode, we discuss the Mexican Black Kingsnake (Lampropeltis getula nigrita) or MBK's as they are known in the hobby. They are native to Mexico’s Sonoran Desert. Its range borders that of the California King Snake and the Desert King Snake. They are found in rocky and semi-arid brushland and grassland regions. They will burrow into loose soil and are also excellent swimmers.
