Today’s guest is Brandie Phillips—an entrepreneur, producer, advocate, and the creator of the groundbreaking series Ink Therapy. After surviving a devastating car accident as a teenager that left her with severe burns, Brandie transformed her own trauma into a mission to help others heal. Through tattoo therapy, storytelling, and media, she’s dedicated her career to showing that scars don’t have to define us—they can become symbols of survival and hope.
She has worked alongside charities and organizations that support survivors of burns, PTSD, domestic violence, addiction, cancer, human trafficking, and other life-altering traumas. Her newest project, Modified by Ink, expands that mission by exploring how tattoo art can play a role in emotional healing and recovery while partnering with nonprofits that serve people overcoming extraordinary challenges.
Today we’re talking about resilience, redemption, mental health, the stories behind the ink, and how some of life’s deepest wounds can become the foundation for helping others. Please help me welcome Brandie Phillips.
