You are now listening to Ritmos Negros! WELCOME TO SEASON 4! In this new season, we will uncover the many Black-rooted "ritmos" and stories of Central America and Mexico. Starting off with El Salvador, we hear from Afro-Salvadoran, Queer artist Carlos Lara who is also the sub-director of the Organized Afrodescendant Salvadorans foundation AFROOS. This organization works to rescue the African heritage in El Salvador manifested in the Afro-Salvadoran people and the customs and traditions of Afro influence.
