Corbin is a home rule-class city in Whitley and Knox counties in the southeastern portion of Kentucky. Corbin actually has a well known piece of food history, in the form of fried chicken and the man who took fried chicken to the masses, Colonel Harland Sanders & his Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise.
