Friday night on The Zach Moonshine Show, we were joined by Texas thrash metal legends GAMMACIDE for a killer conversation about their long-awaited return and their new album, Toxic Mercenaries. We talked about the band's formation in 1986, the underground legacy of Victims of Science, their breakup in 1992, and what brought them back together for Hell's Heroes Festival in 2025. The guys also opened up about the incredible reaction from fans around the world, the decision to keep Gammacide going, and how that momentum led to writing and recording their first new full-length album in over 35 years. We dug into the recording of Toxic Mercenaries with David Treadway of DDT Studios Productions, the spontaneous energy behind the sessions, the new songs, upcoming shows, touring plans, and what's next for Gammacide. An absolutely killer conversation with one of Texas thrash metal's true underground legends! Gammacide | Toxic Mercenaries | NoLifeTilMetal Records
