Nicol van Dyk is a trained physiotherapist and performance health researcher. He was Awarded the Ad Astra Fellowship in the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sport Science in 2024 after four years with the Irish Rugby Football Union as Medical Research Lead. He relocated to Qatar in 2013, while continuing to provide clinical care for athletes he formed part of the Aspetar Injury and Illness Prevention programme at the Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital. In 2018 Nicol completed his PhD in Health Sciences at Ghent University, Belgium titled “Risk factors for hamstring injuries in professional football players.”
Adam Loiacono has over 15 years of experience providing top-tier rehabilitation and performance training to professional & youth athletes. His career includes reaching the NBA Finals with the Phoenix Suns in 2021 and the MLS Cup with the New England Revolution in 2014. Adam is a distinguished member of an elite group of physical therapists, holding the prestigious board certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association - a credential achieved by only 10% of physical therapists in the United States.
