El Combate de Angamos se libró el 8 de octubre de 1879, durante la Guerra del Pacífico, frente a Punta Angamos, entre la escuadra chilena y el monitor peruano Huáscar.
Tras el enfrentamiento el Huáscar fue capturado por Chile y murió su comandante, el contralmirante peruano Miguel Grau.
