I have been a big fan of QNX Operating System for many years, since my early days at ATS Automation Tooling Systems in Cambridge, ON. We needed real time OS for some of the complex machines we were building. QNX filled the bill and more. QNX is now owned by Blackberry now, yes the company that brought us some of the first cell phones!
