In this episode of Fashion Love Stories, I explore a subject that has fascinated me for years: survival.

Not survival in the dramatic sense, but the quieter, more difficult kind—the ability to continue after disappointment, loss, change, heartbreak, professional setbacks, and the unexpected turns that life inevitably brings.

Inspired by NYC and a recent interview with Madonna and her reflections on reinvention, creativity, and resilience, I look at what it means to keep evolving rather than becoming trapped by the past. Few cultural figures have reinvented themselves as relentlessly as Madonna, and her story offers a powerful lesson about adaptation, courage, and the refusal to stand still.

Along the way, I share my own experiences of surviving and rebuilding—through personal loss, career changes, creative challenges, and the ongoing process of becoming stronger with age and experience.

This episode is about transformation, identity, and the realization that survival is not simply enduring. It is creating. It is evolving. It is choosing life again and again.

Because sometimes the greatest love story is the one we have with our own future.
