It took me a while but finally, here's my episode on the Japanese! I played a lot of games with the Japanese to make sure to get this right as they are a very versatile civ with a great early game and a hard late game. They are pretty good on every map except for closed maps and excell at hybrid maps, but somehow they're never the best civ on any map. I hope you'll enjoy this deep dive on the Japanese tech tree, civ bonuses, unique techs and of course the Samurai, along with the rich history of the Japanese both in reality and ingame. Also, I might be a little sarcastic when it comes to the names of the unique techs, please forgive me.
