Tom Wall is a friend of mine and an incredible musician! He's the leader of Cosmic Knot, which is a band on a mission to create a new genre of music: florganoleptic music (a genre of music describing the art of plants playing music with people, with the aid of an electronic device).

In this episode, Tom describes his personal journey that led him to this work, what is was like to play music with plants for the first time, one of his most profound experiences of jamming with a 3,000 year old tree, and how he thinks that planting trees is one of the most important things we could be doing.

In the bonus episode, he shared a video of a private concert where he jams with trees that are clones of ancient Coast Redwoods!
