The rise of Treasury yields, and inflation concerns are the main culprits behind the sluggish trading action in small caps, according to Gina Martin Adams. She says the cohort is bound for a bounce back as large caps lag. Key risk she sees turning against her bull thesis include surprises from the Fed in this week's interest rate decision, along with Mag 7 earnings like Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon (AMZN), and Alphabet (GOOGL). Gina says companies need to show stability through slower growth with goals for a reacceleration in 2027.
