In this episode, we talk with Jeroen Meijer (Jay). Jay is a Flutter Google Developer Expert, one of the admins of FlutterComm , which is one of the most vibrant communities and maintains a few Dart packages as well. He has given several talks regarding Flutter and works as a freelance dev at Very Good Ventures right now.

We talk about how he got started with development, moved on to experimenting with Flutter and then how he eventually became a GDE. He also shares his thoughts about the state of cross-platform and open source software.
