8 Ways to Avoid Drama in Your Life as a Believer • Sunday Service
"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." (Matthew 5:9 KJV)
You can love Jesus, be filled with the Holy Ghost, and carry a calling, and still lose your peace to drama if you don't learn to handle people and situations biblically. Some battles are spiritual warfare. Some are assignments. And some are completely unnecessary.
In this message, we walk through eight biblical principles for a drama-free life:
1. Stop getting involved in things that don't concern you (Proverbs 26:17)
2. Learn when to keep your mouth shut (Proverbs 17:27-28)
3. Refuse to participate in gossip (Proverbs 26:20)
4. Stop being easily offended (Psalm 119:165)
5. Choose your relationships wisely (Proverbs 22:24-25)
6. Don't react emotionally to everything (Proverbs 14:29)
7. Handle conflict directly and biblically (Matthew 18:15)
8. Guard your peace like it's valuable (Philippians 4:7, Isaiah 26:3)
Not every battle is your battle. Protect what God is doing in your life, stay forgiving, stay discerning, and keep your eyes on Jesus.
