One of the most common problems facing the persecuted and suffering church involves the ability to find work. SomeChristians have been fired from their roles due to their Christian faith. Others have been blacklisted and prevented from holding jobs because they are Christians. The ability to work and earn an income is more critical than some may realize.
If anti-Christian authorities can prevent believers from earning a livelihood, they cannot provide for their families. They cannot tithe to their local church. In time, the Christian witness can wilt and erode away. Consequently, the Christian Emergency Alliance strives to help find solutions for Christians to find novel ways they can circumvent these challenges.
One way Christians can fend for themselves is by founding and running their own small businesses. Starting a successful business, however, is easier said than done. What are Christians to do?
