A strange story of identical twins that had an almost supernatural connection that led to one of them dying under very mysterious circumstances so the other could live. Tonight we are discussing the Silent Twins, June and Jennifer Gibbons. Born to Caribbean parents and raised in the UK, both girls were subjected to bullying due to racism at an all white school and their speech impediment as well as undiagnosed mental illness. Jennifer unfortunately passed at age 29 of reportedly myocarditis. June was devastated but has lived a normal life since and no longer requires hospitalization. A dramatization of their story, the movie The Silent Twins, is available to watch Netflix.
