All These Died in Faith

Old Testament Examples of Endurance | Hebrews 11:1–16

How can we endure suffering when the things God has promised are not yet before us? By faith. We believe God will do what He has said, and that confidence enables us to live accordingly.

Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Sarah show us faith expressed in life. Notice the key statement: “All these died in faith.” They died without receiving the fullness of the promises, but they did not stop believing. Their hope reached beyond this life.

We, too, must hold on to Christ. His return brings the fulfillment we await. Present suffering does not make God unfaithful. Trust His word, endure, and keep looking forward. It ain’t gonna be like this always.
