Josh Swanson grew up in church but believed the claims of Christianity were bogus "opium for the masses." In his eyes, religion was nothing more than a coping mechanism. But Josh himself was coping...with confusion around his biracial identity, loneliness, and more, all of which he sought to stifle with chemical substances. Until one late night in 2011, when the God of the Bible revealed Himself to Josh in an undeniable way. But the story doesn't end there.
After encountering the Lord, Josh resisted sanctification and ended up dabbling in manifestation, developing severe ulcerative colitis, going through a divorce, and finally experiencing true submission and new life in Christ.
