In our discussion of S4E14: Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers, we unpack Dan’s motives in getting close to Lucas and Karen, Nathan’s visit to Deb in rehab and our conflicting feelings about what he says to her, Leyton’s healthy and trusting relationship, and Peyton and Brooke’s slow reconciliation. Kaitlyn swoons over Leyton’s redo of the scene from season 1…but they still get interrupted and she desperately wants them to finally have their moment! We also discuss how Haley bitch slaps Rachel (and Jeremy thinks it’s not as satisfying as it could’ve been earlier in the season!), the Shelly and Mouth sex scene, and THAT twist ending that almost feels like fan fiction.
